Frequently Asked Questions

 Are you accepting new patients?

We are not accepting new patients at this time. You can check the website fetchbc to see who is accepting new patients.

Do you see walk-in patients?

Yes, however, if you do not have a family physician at our clinic you must call after 10 am as patients with a family physician here are our first priority.

How long will it take to get my test results?

Most lab results are received within 48 hours. Other tests such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI’s can take 5 to 10 days.

When will my physicians’s schedule be available?

The physician’s schedule come out on the 15th of every month.

Do I need an appointment for renewing my medication?

It is preferred by all physicians if you book an appointment. You can have your pharmacy fax a request and your physician will let you know if an appointment is necessary. However, certain medications always require an appointment with your physician.

I haven’t heard from anyone regarding my referral.

We are more than happy to provide you with the telephone number of the establishment and the date your referral was sent. However, it is your responsibility to call the establishment and check the status of your referral.

Do you need an appointment for TAP forms?

No appointment is necessary for a TAP form. However, you must be a patient of our clinic in order to receive a TAP form. You can come to the front desk and one of the receptionists will be happy to fill one out for you.

What is same day booking?

Each day that the physician works in the clinic, there will be some appointments that have been pre-booked for patients, and some appointments that are held for that morning. You must call the office starting at 8:30 am. You may still pre-book with your family physician, however, it may be a 2 to 3 week wait.
