Cowrie Medical Clinic is popular for Medical Students at all levels of training. Our physicians offer extensive knowledge to all trainees. We participate in providing palliative care, nursing home visits, and drug addiction services to residents of the Sunshine Coast. Trainees at our clinic also benefit from the close working relationships we have with a multitude of specialty services including general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, anesthesiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology and radiology. We offer electives in Family Medicine to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students from UBC, and across Canada.
